The new and improved 22222222 (yes, that is actually what I call it) is a 2-stage wavefolder effect. It was designed and intended for use on electric bass, but go wild, experiment. Plug that guitar in. Maybe it’ll sound cool?
Wavefolding literally folds the input waveform back over itself as the amplitude of the signal passes certain thresholds, producing complex overtones and frequency multiplication effects. You can almost think of it like the weird lovechild of an octave fuzz and an auto-wah, even though it has almost nothing in common electrically with either of those effects.
The updated Version 2 effect features a revised expression circuit, an added input sensitivity switch, and updated construction techniques.

Regarding shipping/availability, I’m still looking for options to get these devices out in the wild as affordably as possible, but it’s a learning process.
